Release Plan for DB update to 10.2

Hi guys
We see that the recommended MariaDB version in cPanel is now 10.2 - we are on 10.1.34 and wish to upgrade. Is that something you agree with i.e. is there any reason we should not?
Our plan has our users off the system for 60 minutes to backup, upgrade and test, and then release to our users. We are doing this from noon on the 20th August.
Given the potential for an issue to compromise our service to customers would it be possible to have someone on call with sufficient skills for that 60 minutes? All we need is a name and phone number.
